Internship/Work Experience/ Vocational Training

If there is space available in your schedule Junior or Senior year you should talk to your school about work experience, internship or vocational training opportunities. Many schools are building partnerships within the communities so that students can participate in authentic work experiences before graduating from high school. These experiences make a significant difference in the likelihood of success in employment after high school so it is important to advocate for yourself and ask if this is an available option to you.
